Sesame Street has launched its own take on Flappy Bird, the hugely-popular (and now defunct) smartphone game entitled, you guessed it, “Flappy Bert”

This is a perfect blend of real-time marketing, digital execution and tongue-in-cheek humour that will create column inches and provide a new reason for kids to engage with the Sesame Street brand


Find a good pun and the idea will follow*. This is a prime example of basing a great campaign on nothing more than a good joke
