If there is one thing that has defined Soho over its long history, it is the variety of interesting people that frequent its neon-drenched streets and alleys. The Photographers’ Gallery this weekend pays homage to these denizens of Soho, with an exhibition of 70 framed photographs by John Deakin that captures some of the most colourful characters of 1950s and 1960s London.
