To promote its brand – and build credibility among younger travellers – the Marriott Hotel created a fully immersive virtual reality experience that transported customers to a tropical destination. The VR experience was powered by Oculus Rift and 4D technology, which enabled users to enjoy not just the gorgeous views of the tropics, but its enviable climes as well

The genuinely cutting edge application of technology – and that between the tablet PC and VR finding real world application, we’re only a flying car or two away from being as close to living in Back to the Future 2 as we could reasonably hope
