Idea
Arcade classics ‘Space Invaders’, ‘Ms. Pacman’, and ‘Galaga’ were given a charitable twist by the Swedish Red Cross. The charity retrofitted the landmark machines to accept any foreign currency and placed them in Stockholm’s airport to raise funds from tourists wishing to get rid of their small change
What We Like
How unlikely a charity & arcade gaming seem as bedfellows, until you consider that we’re always happy to part with small change (plus it makes us feel we’re making a difference without enduring the trouble of actually, you know, doing something)
Learnings
It’s always possible to post-rationalise good creative. Great creative however, is founded on real insight
