Last year IW reported on Watson, IBM’s supercomputer which had been programmed to act as a big data chef; crunching all sorts of information to come up with completely new flavour combinations. Building on the success of the campaign, IBM is launching an app that allows members of the public to turn to Watson for culinary inspiration, letting them download recipes from a considerable catalogue

What We Like

IBM is great at making complex technology relatable and this is another prime example. While IBM is not going to sell many data analytics platforms to members of the public, itis showing businesses as clearly as possible how consumer-facing business models can be launched through its kit – a great approach to B2B PR


It’s simply – think about what your customers really want and build your campaign around that. Now, if only there was a big data analytics machine to tell us how to do that creatively…
