Barclays teamed up with fashion brand Lyle & Scott to create a jacket containing its b-pay technology. The jacket provides the most stylish way yet for the average Jo to haemorrhage cash, with the added bonus of being expensive (£150) to boot

What We Like

Seeing banks play it cool in the public relations space, even if Barclay’s previous inventions (namely contactless stickers you can apply to anything – say for example, a jacket) renders this totally useless


Don’t kill a good idea through over exposure. There’s plenty of mileage in this campaign yet, and the public interest is likely to wane if they’re presented with a mere variation of them on a daily basis
