Idea

Virgin released a couple of new TV spots which aim to get its customers hot under the collar. No, it hasn’t shown a series of its trains arriving late at terminals or promised any rises to its rates. Instead its created several hilarious videos which compare the experience of driving to bad sex. The videos feature a series of couples chatting about the experience of traveling via train versus taking the car – all in language so vague they seem to be describing something else entirely

What We Like

Although this is an advertising campaign, it features exactly the kind of content which gets people talking, and manages to be genuinely funny in the process. It’s tough for content of this type to walk the ‘safe smut’ line without becoming completely anodyne – and so it great to see a video series do so successfully
