Idea
HSBC published a series of ‘fairer tales’ which featured ‘princesses doing it for themselves’ in a bid to encourage children to be financially independent.
Created in partnership with children’s author Emma Dodd, the tales saw everything from Cinderella starting a business through to Rapunzel escaping from her tower by creating a ladder from her own hair… before redeveloping her former prison thanks to a bank loan.
